David Edholm is a civil litigation associate at Cappello & Noël LLP. His practice includes complex civil litigation in heavily regulated industries.

DAVID C. EDHOLM

Mr. Edholm represents individuals and entities in state and federal court in high-stakes business disputes, class actions, and government litigation. He previously served as a Judicial Fellow and Term Law Clerk for the Honorable Trina L. Thompson in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California in San Francisco.

Mr. Edholm graduated from the University of Minnesota Law School with a concentration in Health Law & Bioethics. While in law school, he clerked in the Office of Counsel to the Inspector General for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services in Washington, D.C. As a member of the law school’s public service program, he externed in the General Counsel’s office of Children’s Minnesota, a regional non-profit healthcare organization, and interned with Kids in Need of Defense, a Washington D.C.-based non-profit organization dedicated to representing asylum-seeking minors.

In law school, Mr. Edholm received two national writing awards and published his scholarship in the Yale Journal of Health Policy, Law & Ethics and the Health Law & Policy Brief. He also served as Executive Editor of the Minnesota Journal of Law, Science & Technology.

Prior to law school, Mr. Edholm taught mathematics in Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts. He is an AmeriCorps VISTA alumnus.
