Attorney Kenneth J. Melrose has joined the Santa Barbara law firm Cappello & Noël, LLP as an associate, according to A. Barry Cappello, managing partner.
Melrose will focus his practice on litigation and trial work. While at law firms in Salt Lake City, Los Angeles and San Luis Obispo, he represented property owners, oil and gas companies, real estate developers, business owners, class-members, those injured by professional negligence and others—both in litigation and in sophisticated transactions. He drafted pleadings, argued motions, prepared cases for trial in state and federal courts.
Melrose received his B.A. in both History and International Studies from the University of Utah and his J.D. from the University of Utah, S.J. Quinney College of Law. He is admitted to practice law in Utah and California.
